Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By signing up, installing the extension, or otherwise using DropXRay, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the service.

2. What DropXRay is — and what it isn’t

DropXRay is a research and observability tool for eBay dropshippers. It helps you find competitors, study public listings, and track your own orders. That is the entire scope.

DropXRay is notan auto-lister. It does not post listings on your behalf. It does not fulfill orders. It does not guarantee that any product, strategy, or method shown in the dashboard is compliant with eBay’s policies or any applicable law. You alone decide what to list and how to run your business.

3. Account registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use DropXRay. One account per person. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for everything done under your account. Accounts are non-transferable.

4. Acceptable use

DropXRay is licensed for your own internal research. You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or repackage DropXRay data as your own product.
• Use DropXRay to scrape or surveil competing research tools or platforms.
• Reverse engineer the extension or dashboard with the intent of building a clone.
• Share a single account across multiple people or companies. Use the Agency tier if you need team access.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or target specific sellers for abuse.

5. DropXRay is a third-party tool. eBay isn’t.

This is the most important section in this document. DropXRay has no affiliation with eBay Inc. We deliberately do not use the eBay API, because API use ties an account to an identifiable integration and increases ban risk for dropship operators. Instead, the extension reads data from pages your browser already loads.

You are responsible for complying with eBay’s User Agreement, policies, and any regional laws that apply to your selling activity. eBay may, at its sole discretion, take action against your account for any reason — including automation, scraping, or dropshipping practices it does not approve of. DropXRay cannot and does not guarantee that eBay will not restrict, suspend, or ban your account. Using DropXRay is your decision and your risk.

6. Subscriptions and billing

DropXRay offers a 14-day free trial on paid tiers. After the trial, the selected plan is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on what you chose) until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate refunds for partial periods. Billing is processed by Stripe once live; until then, access is invite-only.

We may change pricing, but existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before the change affects their plan.

7. Intellectual property

Your data is yours. That includes the list of competitors you track, notes you create, and orders synced from your seller account. DropXRay claims no ownership of it and will not use it outside of running the service for you.

DropXRay’s code, UI, branding, documentation, and the aggregated intelligence we produce (e.g. the VERO brand list, supplier fingerprinting models) are DropXRay property. You get a non-exclusive license to use them through the product; you do not get a license to redistribute or copy them.

8. Termination

You can cancel or delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, attempt to bypass billing, or put other users at risk. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused prepaid balance.

9. Warranty disclaimer

DropXRay is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every eBay page change, or that any research result will lead to a successful sale.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, DropXRay and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost sales, account suspensions, MC011 restrictions, or any action taken by eBay against you. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the amount you paid DropXRay in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
